Integrated Biometrics Curve

IB Curve
Single Finger Scanner

High matching speeds
High power efficiency
Auto-On enabled

Description

The Integrated Biometrics Curve is the next generation of standalone biometric scanners that has a stylish design and an enhanced range of features. The scanner is equipped with Integrated Biometrics’ famed LES technology that generates high quality fingerprint images consistent with FBI standards. The LES technology is also known to be resilient to finger defects such as dryness, moisture and scarring. It is also resistant to environmental conditions such as bright light and direct sunlight. The LES technology uses a light emitter that generates the right amount of scanning light from within the platen, giving high quality images.

The scanner is compatible with different operating system platforms and languages giving tremendous power to the user and ease of implementing functions at the same time. It works with Windows, Linux 2.6 and higher and NetBSD 4.0 operating systems. Languages such as C, C++, VB.Net and VB 6.0 are supported by it.

Special Features

High speed output

The LES technology combined with the Integrated Biometrics algorithm for matching and verification gives the Integrated Biometrics Curve an edge over other scanners in terms of speed. The device is capable of matching 1: 30,000 templates in one second.

High power efficiency

The Integrated Biometrics Curve is designed to be a highly power efficient and easily compatible with peripheral devices and systems. It is designed to operate at 5V supply and consumes only 100 mA while operating and even less in the idle state.

Auto-On & live finger detection

The LES technology used in scanning finger prints combined with specialized algorithms enable touch and go (auto-on) and live finger detection. The touch and go feature turns the sensor on and off automatically before and after scanning for user convenience. The live finger detection feature is capable of detecting fake fingers or fingers made from artificial materials.
