Multispectral imaging technology
Easy integration

Description

The M-series or Mercury series of biometric sensors from Lumidigm extends the maker’s multispectral imaging technology to fingerprint scanners. The Lumidigm M-series M310 module is an easily integradable biometric sensor with a variety of configuration modes. It can be used for registration, verification or identification purposes by configuring in 1: 1 or 1: N modes. It can also be configured to deliver high quality images or ANSI 378 standard templates.

The Lumidigm M-series M310 module also features a fake finger rejection technology using multispectral imaging. This makes the module an unparalleled product in the Fingerprint sensor market. It is used for applications such as security, banking, registration and more. The compact size, yet high reliability makes the module one of the best choices for OEM grade sensor integration in other products.

Special Features

Fast, reliable and accurate

The sensor features speeds of 480 Mbps when connected using the USB 2.0 interface and 115.2 Kbps when connected using the RS 232interface. Typical scanning and verification procedures take under 2 seconds. The module works under direct sunlight and is resistant to external environmental disturbances.

Multiple OS compatibility

The Lumidigm M-series M310 module is compatible with Windows (7 or higher), Linux and Android operating systems. This makes the module compatible with mobile devices and PCs for a wide range of applications. The module also supports RS 232 and USB 2.0 output interfaces.

Multispectral imaging technology

The Lumidigm M-series M310 module features an award winning multispectral imaging technology. It is used to detect fake fingers by capturing detailed surface data and deep tissue data. The module captures an internal fingerprint made of blood capillaries 2 mm below the skin surface. The sensor verifies the skin surface print with the internal print (ideally identical to the skin surface print) and approves of users only with matching prints.
