Lumidigm V300 Fingerprint Sensor Module

Lumidigm V300
Fingerprint Module

High performance
Flexible outputs
Spoof detection

Description

The Lumidigm V-series modules are the high end fingerprint sensor modules from Lumidigm for biometric applications. The Lumidigm V-series V300 module features multispectral imaging technology that eliminates threats of fake fingerprints in security applications. The V300 is a part of the most widely sought after Lumidigm Venus series of biometric scanners typically used in ATMs, security, Healthcare and other industries where identity verification plays a major role.

The Lumidigm V-series V300 module is compatible with multiple operating systems which makes it a flexible module easily integradable with other products. The module supports Windows (7 or higher), Linux and Android operating systems and features a USB 2.0 interface for output.

Special Features

Highly reliable

The scanner provides best in class output images of 500 DPI and 300x 400 pixel image size. The 8 bit images provide a 256 gray scale resolution which when combined with ANSI standard algorithms produce results which are free from Failure to Enroll (FTE) and Failure To Acquire (FTA) errors.

Fake finger rejection

The Lumidigm V-series V300 module uses award winning multispectral imaging technology. This technology scans the primary surface skin to collect an external fingerprint image and a secondary internal fingerprint. The internal fingerprint is composed of blood capillaries present 2mm below the skin layer. The sensor matches the two fingers and verifies users based on the percentage of matching.

Compact and easy interoperability

The Lumidigm V-series V300 module is a compact module that measures just 68 x 66 x 51 mm. This makes the module ideal for integration with other products that require an embedded OEM grade biometric scanner. The module also features a USB 2.0 standard interface which is compatible with Windows (7 or higher), Linux and Android operating systems. The output from the module can be configured to templates or match scores based on user requirements.
