Lumidigm V310 Fingerprint Module

Lumidigm V310
Fingerprint Module

Fake finger rejection
High accuracy and reliability
FBI certified WSQ compression

Description

The Lumidigm V-series V310 module is the second installment of the venus series of biometric scanners from Lumidigm. The Lumidigm V-series V310 module houses all the features of the V 300 module along with a few enhancements of its own. The V310 module uses FBI standards compliant WSQ compression that makes the module suitable for government sector applications such as voter registration & identification and banking.

The output from the Lumidigm V-series V310 module can be configured according to user needs (fingerprint image, template or match scores) and this can be processed by systems running on the Microsoft Windows OS. The Module also has a compact build which makes it easily integradable with other products which require an FBI compliant biometric scanner.

Special Features

Compact, lightweight and sturdy

The module has a compact size of 68 x 66 x51 mm and comes with a light weight build. However, the overall structural integrity of the module is not compromised as it features a rugged build that mirrors standards of IP65.

High quality images

The Lumidigm V-series V310 module features 500 DPI, 300 x 400 pixel resolution images. These images are scanned using the award winning multispectral imaging technology from Lumidigm. The module also features an FBI certified WSQ compression, which makes the images ideal for applications that require federal approval.

Best in class performance

Using the award winning Multispectral imaging technology, the Lumidigm V-series V310 module captures images of the skin level fingerprint and an internal fingerprint composed of blood capillary distribution 2mm under the skin. Matching these fingerprints helps the module detect fake fingers. It also gives the module high reliability when used with dry, wet, scarred or aged fingers and extreme environment conditions such as direct sunlight.
