The Lumidigm V-series V311 is an IP65 certified biometric scanner from HID Global. It is the most enhanced version of Lumidigm’s Venus series (V-series) of biometric fingerprint recognition devices and features excellent operating parameters compared to other makes. The Lumidigm V-series V311 uses patented multispectral imaging technology to detect fake/counterfeited prints by scanning both the skin surface and skin sub-surface of a finger. This eliminates the threat of data security and hacking into systems using artificial fingerprints.
The Lumidigm V-series V311 readers follows WSQ compression, ANSI and ISO standards in image output formats and is an FBI certified product which makes it usable in applications such as healthcare, banking, finance, infrastructure security, border control and other registration and verification processes. The device is equipped with advanced fingerprint recognition algorithms that eliminate issues such as Failure to Enroll (FTE) and Failure to Acquire (FTA).
