Description

The Nitgen eNBioScan-F is an FBI PIV certified advanced fingerprint recognition scanner. It features a large scanning window (1.2 x 1.2 inch) and provides fast image capture rates. The scanner is capable of scanning dry and wet fingers with no image distortion or errors, and this makes it a versatile tool in a number of applications. The module captures single finger flat and roll scans and also supports WSQ compression. Owing to the large scanning window size, the inaccuracies in image capture are considerably reduced and the overall user verification process is speeded up.

The images produced by the Nitgen eNBioScan-F are 500 ppi and 600x 600 pixel resolution. These images also comply with the FBI AFIS image quality standards and produce noise free, distortion less and sharp images.

Special Features

Rugged build

One of the main features to set apart the Nitgen eNBioScan-F from other scanners is its rugged build. The module though being compact (71 x 148 x 84 mm) and light weight (380 grams) features an external build that is resistant to scratches and impacts. The module has a Moh’s abrasion hardness of 7.4 which gives it a guaranteed build quality.

Easy interoperability

The Nitgen eNBioScan-F also features multiple OS compatibility. It can be operated by any system running on Windows (2000 or higher) or Linux (kernel 2.6 or higher) OS. It also features a USB 2.0 interface for plug and play and easy interoperability.

FBI PIV certified

The Nitgen eNBioScan-F is FBI PIV certified and compliant with the FIPS 201 standards. The module features WSQ compression techniques and this makes it useful in a number of applications. The Nitgen eNBioScan-F is typically used in border and port security, correctional facilities, finance, office security and other government and national applications.
