With the SecuGen Hamster Pro 20, you’ll get the best fingerprint scanning technology in the industry. With SecuGen’s U20 technology, this powerful little sensor can create an incredibly-detailed 300 x 400-pixel fingerprint image in just a fraction of a second. You’ll rest easy knowing your team members can’t lose or forget their passwords – keeping your sensitive data and facilities safe and secure. This easy-to-install device features compatibility with Windows, Windows Server, Android, and Linux devices (Android/Linux support for Fake Finger technology coming soon).

Your team members will love the convenient size of the Hamster Pro 2 (less than half the height of the Hamster Plus). This powerful, cutting-edge scanner features SecuGen’s U20 technology with the same low-profile design as the Hamster Pro. You can rely on the Hamster Pro 20’s IP65-rated resistance to water and dust, as well as its high operating humidity and temperature range.

The Hamster Pro 20 features Auto-On™ and Smart Capture™ software to secure your systems without slowing you down. When your team members put touch the Hamster Pro 20’s sensor, it will automatically power on and adjust to their skin type. Even if a person has dry, moist, scarred, or aged fingers, the Hamster Pro 20 can identify them. SecuGen 500 dpi scanners can handle even the most extreme weather and light conditions – including direct sunlight.

Developer support

Your IT team will love working with SecuGen’s simple and intuitive Software Developer Kit (SDK). Like all SecuGen Hamster products, the Pro 20 facilitates easy integration with the Windows Biometric Framework (WBF). You’ll enjoy an added layer of security when your team members buy and access apps via the Windows Store.

Fake finger rejection

Like all SecuGen devices featuring U20 technology, the Hamster Pro 20 boasts top-of-the-line software that prevents spoofing (hacking fingerprint scanners). This remarkable little device not only identifies your team members when they log onto your systems; it can recognize the differences between live and fake fingers. You can currently use the Hamster Pro 20’s Fake Finger Rejection technology on Windows operating systems (look for Android and Linux functionality in the near future).
