Description

SecuGen is known to deliver some of the best standalone fingerprint recognition systems and the SecuGen SDA03P is no exception. SecuGen SDA03P is the installment of the SecuGen’s SDA series of standalone OEM grade biometric fingerprint modules. These sensors can work without the aid of an external computer, making them ideal candidates for standalone applications. The SecuGen SDA03P also has high interoperability, making it easily integradable with external devices for advanced applications.

The SecuGen SDA03P is available in 2 models. While the conventional SDA03P can be used in ambient environments, the SecuGen SDA03P-WR is an IP65 standard compliant model for rugged use. The SDA03P-WR model is water resistant and can be used for applications where extreme working conditions are common.

Special Features

High quality & accuracy

The SecuGen SDA03P produces high quality images and accurate results owing to the implementation of the Auto-on and smart capture technologies in the module. The images feature a 500 DPI and 260 x 300 pixel resolution. The Auto-on functionality makes the module self sufficient and power efficient while Smart capture technology produces high quality images even for dry, wet, aged or scarred fingers.

IP65 compliant rugged build

The SecuGen SDA03P can be upgraded to the SecuGen SDA03P-WR model for applications that require IP65 compliant standards. This not only means the module is resistant to extreme operating conditions like impact, vibrations and electric shocks but also is water resistant.

Standalone system

The SecuGen SDA03P, different from conventional biometric scanners, is designed to work as a standalone system. It features memory storage of 128 MB and can store up to 10,000 users’ data. The model has inbuilt 1: 1 and 1: N matching algorithms. SecuGen also provides SDKs for easy development in terms of software, hardware and support for development of specialized applications.
