Built for versatility, the Sherlock two- finger roll scanner is a compact and efficient biometric scanner from Integrated Biometrics. Sherlock is equipped with the maker’s patented LES technology capable of capturing high-resolution images within a fraction of a second. It is also built to be more than a standalone fingerprint scanner.

IB Sherlock is compatible with mobile computers and handheld devices like smart phones and tablets. It is compatible with any device running on Windows, Linux or Android (4.0 and higher) operating systems. Sherlock is capable of producing 800 x 750-pixel images and this versatile fingerprint recognition device also comes with a full featured SDK for easy integration.

High accuracy with LES technology

The Watson Mini is a highly reliable biometric sensor that can work under any surrounding environmental conditions. Be it under direct sunlight or dry and dusty environments, the light emitting sensor technology produces high quality 800 x 750-pixel images. The Watson Mini is not easily misled by foreign matter and also has the ability to discard latent prints.

Compatible with handheld devices

Different from other standalone biometric sensors, Sherlock is built to me a biometric sensor for mobile applications because of its high portability. The scanner can work as a standalone device compatible with Windows and Linux OS. However, it can also work with smart phones and tablets running on Android (4.0 or higher) and Windows Mobile 6.5. It is capable of producing dual print images and single finger flat and rolled images while only being powered by a mobile phone.

Compact and durable

The Sherlock two-finger rolled scanner is one of the few biometric scanners in the market where size meets strength. Being designed as a potential peripheral for handheld devices, the scanner packs a punch in just 65.1 x 61.7 x 14.2 (mm) area and weighs less than 55 grams. But if you think this compact nature compromises on build quality, then think again. The Sherlock comes with an IP65 rugged build and also features an optional IP67 packaging for the toughest working environments.
